This is a very welcoming and wonderful place. Attentive, genuinely friendly staff. Decor is low key and elegant. I strongly recommend the deviled eggs, the frites, the Brussels sprouts and the Gouda beignets. The wine list is extensive and thoughtful. Although I didn't try any...More

Bouligny Tavern (Garden District) – It’s owned by the same folks as the French restaurant next door. In contrast to Bourbon Street and the noise downtown, this is a small, sophisticated lounge with nice lighting, good drinks and a tasteful small plates menu. We tried...More

Enjoy some of the best drinks paired with amazing food. Don't miss the small plates and great service. This is a place to visit if your coming to New Orleans. Very much an upscale neighborhood location. Very charming and great music to top it off.

If I understand correctly, this is run by the same folks who operate Lilette (which is a great restaurant), and it reflects a similar attention to easy-going but classy detail. The drinks and wine list are superb, but the surprise is the quality of the...More

We celebrated a treat day at Bouligny Tavern and couldn't have dreamed up a better time. The staff was so good to us, the food was really top-notch and the atmosphere was very romantic. We loved that they played vinyl records and we will definitely...More

Stopped on Saturday afternoon for a drink---ordered the $12 specialty old-fashioned. If you are going to serve an old-fashioned, you need to use an old-fashioned glass, not a DOUBLE old-fashioned glass. Without any stirrer, cocktail napkin or any flourish whatsoever this drink came off as...More

My husband stopped in on a late, rainy afternoon for a drink and ended up staying for a couple hours. All of the small plates were outstanding, particularly the lobster cavatelli and lobster toast. They have a great Happy Hour. I particularly liked their original...More

Excellent selection of wines, cocktails, and bites. Menu was varied but limited, in the best possible way. Turntable behind the bar and mad-men vibe were a fun start to our night on Magazine- love the lower garden district!

We had dinner at the bar on a slow Monday night. My burger was superb. The bartender played vinyl of a turntable behind the bar which was a real switch from the usual programmed music you get most places. He was friendly, the place was...More

Great little tavern/bar. Interesting cocktail selection, very innovative. Good wine list by the glass, and a really intriguing list of snacks and appetizers like beef marrow butter brioche tye or roasted fennel ricotta brioche tye. Also nice cheeses and salamis
