We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here the last night. It's upscale, but jackets aren't required. Ladies, a nice dress or even a nice pair of pants would be fine too. Just no shorts or denim. Food was wonderful and service was perfection....More

Service was 5 star! Knowledge of the product was excellent. However, food service was slow, the au gratin potatoes had to be sent back because they were cold, the Brussel sprouts were also cold. Both of our waiters absolutely raved about the short ribs and...More

I didn't think our second visit could top our first, but it did. We sampled the "Death by Gumbo" (must try at least once), Cajun-fried oyster salad (very tasty), and the Delmonico. But what really knocked our socks of were the crab beignets (light, fluffy,...More

The personal experience we expereinced was the result of my hosts having frequented the bar--so it's not fair to judge strictly from that angle. But, really, the personal attendance was over the top. The Mgr assist, was fabulous and shared his recipe for a $650...More

I would think a collared shirt and dress shorts should be OK. You should strongly consider adding shoes to the mix, too. :)

Yes, not well set up for children and very busy bar. This is a dressy high end establishment. I would try someplace else.

Serving Lunch on Fridays, Dinner nightly and Sunday Jazz Brunch. Restaurant R'evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs' interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as "the swamp floor pantry." Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying. Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.
