The famous Gumbo Pot lives up to its name. The Gumbo here is great, full of flavor and definitely filling. The service was great and the outside patio atmosphere was great as well. This place was definitely one of the highlights of our New Orleans...More

This was an impromtu stop for late dinner. We sat outside. We had the pasta Jambalaya which was delicious with the right amount spice. After reading the reviews, I guess this place is a hit or miss. We were lucky.

We ate meat ball Poy Boy and some crispy fried fish at the Gumbo Pot. Both were good with ample servings, and masses of fries & other accompaniments. A highly filling satisfactory lunch.

Four of us had breakfast here. We were the only ones in the place and service was slow. We asked if she could split the check between the two couples and she said no. Against policy. They did not serve decaf coffee. And when we...More

Ordered oyster po boy, no flavor at all. Not allowed to serve alcohol, should have kept walking. My father made an order from the menu and the server said they did nane the dish. Nit much more to say.

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
