Menu changes all the time but we have been twice and had great food. It is a small place and both times relied on just two servers for everything so not the place to go if you are in a hurry or for a quick cocktail. Good drinks and inventive menu. Check it out.

We really enjoyed our experience at Suis. The place was great- laid back, fun (it was luau week) and had a ton of character. It was cool to see people there interacting- clearly all neighborhood buddies. The drink menu was amazing and the food sounded tasty, but ended up pretty bland all around. A little too pricey for the items... More

Was a little skeptical, but once we got in there and ordered it was clear we were in for a treat. The Israeli bkfst treat (can't remember the name of it) was exceptional.

This was an unexpected delight in an area with a number of dining options. The food was very fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. We initially went on taco night and were impressed with the fresh tastes and very reasonable prices so we went again. By ordering four appetisers and one main, we were able to feed four mildly peckish adults,... More

This was our best meal by far in New Orleans. But what you need to know is it isn't typical New Orleans. It's more California fresh. No big portions. Nothing deep fried. Everything beautifully presented and cooked with love. They work with local farmers to source their food. We (three of us) had three small plates and two big plates.... More

We just loved the feel of the place, the out of the way location in a real neighbourhood and the food at less than French Quarter prices. The gratin pureed roasted veggie dish was a delight with crusty parmesan cheese on top and my husband's salmon was tasty and well prepared, as was the grilled bokchoy. The ginger lemonade was... Had brunch at Suis Generis today. I took the shashuka with coco it water. It was very good and full of vitamin C and protides. Definitely an address to consider while in NOLA !

I visited first time on a Sunday. Was offered brunch menu. The choices were all unusual because they are always the creations of the chef, depending on chef's whim of the day. I could not make a decision easily because the ingredients were unusual combinations that are not traditionally eaten in a dish together. I had the bagel with avocado,... More
