If you don't like creole cuisine or super heavy (and fat) food, this place might save you from starving. It's not going to be the best sushi you ever had, but it tastes nice and it's decently priced. They have some issue with the rice, probably not using the right one for sushi. So you might have a hard time... More

They had an extensive menu of sushi and other Asian food. The sushi was reasonable $6 Salmon Skin Roll and $5.5 for spicy salmon. If you're in the area and in the mood for sushi, try it. It wasn't special enough to especially for the fish.

Had the calamari for an appetizer and it was the best my husband and I'd ever had! Split two rolls (Crouching Tiger and Bourbon)...would definitely get the Bourbon roll again! It may be spicy for some, but well worth it. Waiter was not very attentive, but other personnel were friendly and assisted us when they saw our drinks empty. Would... More

Excellent hibachi and sashimi. Ordered twice from this place. Service was fast and accurate. The chicken fired rice was delicious and do was the calamari appetizer. Would definitely recommend this place!

We love this place, come back every time we visit New Orleans. Great location in the center of it all with a nice atmosphere and great food. We love the rolls and always order too much :) and the staff is friendly and fun. A great get-away all around!

I have been ordering from Geshia for the past 6 years and it is a solid choice for CBD and French Quarter Sushi, especially is you want it delivered! The restaurant itself is very nice, but i work downtown and can't always find time to go there, so call out for sushi and their trusty delivery guy brings it fast,... More

After having a traditional NOLA lunch, we wanted sushi for dinner. Geisha Sushi Bistro is in a great location, just outside the French Quarter. Sashimi orders are very generous. Our daughter ordered the fried tofu appetizer and loved it. The White Ninja roll was our favorite, though we also very much enjoyed the Hidden Dragon and Rainbow rolls. Server was... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
