If you want a change from traditional jumbo, crawfish and oysters that you'll find all over NOLA, go to Little Korea BBQ. The food was excellent, the service just attentive enough, and the price point very reasonable. My cocktail was perfectly balanced and the LA GALBI was delicious. I enjoyed grilling my own meat, so that it could be done... More

Great place to get Korean BBQ or pick up other great items to go. Spicy, fresh, flavorful food. The place was packed when we visited - guests enjoying a variety of grilled meats. The smell was fantastic!

We were very pleased with our group dinner. The cocktails were good, especially the old fashioned. The bbq pork and beef was excellent. Fairly authentic and good according to our friend from Korea.

Don't get me wrong, the food was really pretty, the presentation was nice, but unfortunately it lacked all the flavor. I really wish I would've liked this place but unfortunately and strangely, all I got was bland? They have cute ideas and executions but I don't know what happened. Our server wasn't the nicest, she would disappear for a long... More

Korean BBQ is always my favorite. Especially love the cheesy corns and eggs that cook on the grill to your own satisfaction in this little restaurant. Side dishes are great in here too! However, was a bit disappointed with the Korean pancakes that definitely need improvement. Overall, this is a great place to visit and it will definitely fill you... More

I was going to another restaurant and saw Little Korea BBQ so decided to check them out. Overall, the food was good, in large portions, and had good flavors. As a vegetarian, the options are somewhat limited (especially if you are taking things to go) but what was available was good. The inside of the restaurant also looked nice and... More

Note: the new location is in the 2200 block of Magazine on the river side of the street. It is sleek and new in every way with table top grills and all the bells and whistles. The menu is much more extensive and the Dolsot Bibimbap is perfection and you can add different toppings. The accompanying dishes are varied in... More

Assuming it's because they moved to this new location and have yet to update their photos, the menu items are a little deceiving. Parking was a little inconvenient, but we came early and there were still 2 spots open in front of the restaurant. Decor was mix of white walls and black flooring and tables. Restaurant didn't look dirty but... More

They just opened a new restaurant in Uptown NOLA. Went for dinner and was very good. Had grilled beef and grilled pork, done at your table. Very reasonable prices and fun!!!

I've been going to this restaurant since they first opened and I just visited their new location. The korean cooking has been good throughout but the quality of ingredients changed over time. I'm very pleased with the quality of pork belly today. The meat was not previously frozen from what I could tell. I saw some previous complaints on higher... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
