I had the blackened swordfish which was delicious. Perfect proportion with just the right amount of seasoning. The waiter was very attentive and not overbearing. Our iced teas were kept filled and I had their Salty Malty for dessert. The best salty and sweet combination I have ever had.

I had the Grilled Drum over White Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans and Shitakes. Grilled to perfection with a delicate butter garnish. My wife had Scallops over rice with Asparagus. The plump Scallops were seared to a golden brown in a delicious veal jus. We each had The sizzling Smoked Grilled Oyster Appetizer. Served blazing hot, the succulent Oysters almost melted... More

This restaurant is excellent. My wife and I have enjoyed many fine meals over the years, but we both are of the opinion that this is the best meal we have enjoyed in recent memory. We even tried to make reservations for the following night, but it was the first week of Jazz Fest and there was nothing late enough... More

Experience the cuisine that has created raving fans of local diners and national and local food critics alike. Chef Tenney Flynn (two time winner of "Chef of the Year" in New Orleans Magazine) ensures the highest quality seafood by flying in products from around the globe and featuring only the best from local waters - both at their seasonal peak. This commitment to freshness and variety are two of the many reasons GW Fins prints its menu daily and has received numerous glowing reviews in The Times-Picayune (4 beans), Food & Wine, Southern Living and Esquire magazines. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
