We dined at Irene's on the last night of a three week tour of the southern US, deciding to push the boat out a little. We were not disappointed, the quality of the food and its preparation was quite exceptional. Between us we started with,...More

A friend recommended that we try Irene's and I am so glad we did. I was prepared to wait even though we had a reservation but to my surprise we were seated right away. The waiter said there must have been something going on because...More

My mother and I stopped in for dinner on our last night in NOLA. The food and service was excellent, and the wine options also superb. Our server, Orlando, was very attentive (despite the busy evening) and he made great recommendations for our meals. Irene's...More

Walked in without booking, and were seated after about 15 minutes - no problem and it was worth the wait. Food was exceptional and service very professional - tables are a little small for four and they are crammed in - but good atmosphere

We were in New Orleans for my daughter's wedding. Went to many restaurants recommended by everyone at the hotel, but by far this was the best one we went to. The food was fantastic, the waiter was great, and with every special occasion the waiter...More

To be fair, the only reason this isn't a 5 rating is because we ended up waiting longer than we were told and felt some of the staff were a bit snooty to us. It was the Tuesday night after Jazzfest and our waitress was...More

For the past couple years we have traveled to New Orleans for our anniversary. We make sure to have our anniversary dinner at Irene's. Reservations are necessary. You might get lucky and get seated without a reservation but I would not take that chance. Ireland's...More

There is some on street parking but watch that you park legally or they'll tow you . There are paid parking lots and then you can walk a couple of blocks to the restaurant.

Call at least a week in advance, the fact that you are flexible with dates will help.

You should be able to make reservations over the phone. Mardi Gras may have affected the hours they are open.
