Drinks at the famous bar at Muriel's is an experience to experience ~ all of the specialty cocktails are hand drafted by the bar manager, whose sole goal is to impress. Well done.

My daughter and I popped in an hour before our reservation and they kindly accommodated us, even though they scurried us in to a dark, back corner! (We are unaccustomed to the heat and humidity and admittedly should have gone back to hotel first). BUT,...More

Muriel’s is a must stop if you’re a party of 4 or less. Food is great, service is attentive, and price is reasonable by French Quarter standards. I consider Muriel’s a true 5 star Excellent on Trip Advisor, regardless of the city/location. That’s the challenge...More

Elegant and historic, Muriel's epitomizes the French Quarter fine dining experience, yet more casual attire is accepted here, so all guests will feel comfortable and welcome- no stuffiness despite the swanky aspects of this establishment. The location of this restaurant is in the heart of...More

This place is great, it is what we call in our family a restaurant that we would consider a "do over" meaning we would go again and again! Everything on the menu is great, the service stellar, and the ambiance is on point. Anything you...More

Slacks with a collared shirt (like a golf shirt) is acceptable. Boats shoes I think would also be acceptable but not sandals or flip-flops. T-shirts and shorts are out of place though.

Pretty lax, I would recommend at least a collared shirt or a button down (no sneakers) for a man, something nice, dress, or classy jeans and top for a women, no flip flops.

The Bistro at Muriel’s Jackson Square offers New Orleans classics like Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp, Oysters "Muriel", Turtle soup, Fried Gulf Shrimp Po-boy, Crabmeat Imperial, Shrimp Remoulade & contemporary Creole cuisine like Pecan Crusted Drum & Wood Grilled Tuna while the Courtyard Bar is the perfect place to drop by for drinks & appetizers. The Séance Lounge is the place for a relaxed, comfortable meeting before or after dining. Comprised of two areas, The Outer & The Inner Séance, the Séance also tells the story of a mystic & checkered past. The Outer Séance addresses the New Orleans era of Storyville & when Muriel's Jackson Square was one of the French Quarter's best bordellos! The Inner Séance is the preferred domain of the resident ghost, Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan, & is the perfect spot for an intimate conversation & a drink amongst its plush surroundings.
