It's in the French Quarter next to Jackson Square. This is a great location. But it was a mixed bag with the food and less than impressed with the service. The second bottle of wine was delivered after our entrées. So I declined to have...More
My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary meal here. I consider myself a "shrimp and grits expert," and these were the best I've put in my mouth. The wine was delicious, and the bread pudding was heavenly. Wonderful place for a fine dining meal...More

Two of the BEST meals I've ever had in my life have been here. The atmosphere and company made it even better.

Super impressed with Muriel's. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The food was incredible-- the shrimp & grits were the best I've ever had. Top 10 of restaurants we've visited within the last several years. Highly recommend!!
Right at the corner of Jackson Park the view from the upper balcony is wonderful. You can watch the buskers while having a pre-dinner drink. The food is excellent and servers professional. The place is supposedly haunted as an added attraction.
