My partner & I dined here recently during our first trip to New Orleans. Clancy's is an excellent fine-dining place that features the local cuisine. We both enjoyed a delicious meal here. We were also provided with excellent attentive service by the wait staff.

Located in uptown New Orleans, so probably a place most tourists would not find. Luckily we were with friends who live in New Orleans and this is one of their favourite restaurants. The place was packed, so definitely need to book ahead for a table....More

Heard many good things about Clancys. Cant say any wasn’t true. The food was great, corkage was reasonable and the service was good. What kept our experience from being perfect was that our table was crowded and room was loud. I think the problem was...More

If you want a perfectly cooked soft shell crab, this is the place. Ditto just about everything else. The cuisine isn't trendy or innovative, but that's not why people come here. The waiters are old school attentive and efficient, the wine list is extensive, the...More

NICE this cottage with its waiters in white waistcoats is something out of a movie. this restaurant represents everything that is the city of new orleans - piles of seafood with lots of cocktail sauce and home made peppermint ice cream for dessert (even a...More

We were seated on time. The waiter brought cocktails and gave us plenty time. All our appetizers/salads/mains were superb. Had no room for dessert.

Very much their own self sufficient unit within the
greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down
the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate
