They had a fried oyster and egg special the day we were there. It was unbelievably good. Friendly space, good food and service. Good value outside the tourist bubble.

Crowded, noisy, friendly, lively! Love this spot for breakfast whenever I am in NOLA. Stand out favorites are the praline bacon and the friend green tomatoes. Finding parking can sometimes be a challenge but the food is worth it.

The drink list was extensive, with lots of local beers on the menu. I had the vegan special of the day - potato and zucchini tacos. As a vegetarian, I'm used to having sour cream and cheese on my tacos, so I was worried that...More

The sign over the door to Elizabeth's says it all: Real Food Done Real Good. Crowded. Noisy. Lots of energy. Happy and attentive servers. Fabulous food...and lots of it! What more could you want? Go. To. Elizabeth's.

I saw praline bacon on the menu and I knew we had to go here for breakfast. So glad we did! Started off with the Spiked Coffee. The perfect boozy iced coffee drink delivered in a travel cup perfect for walking the quaint streets of...More

We stumbled across Elizabeth's on a culinary bike tour while in NOLA. It's outside of the French Quarter so you need a bike or an uber or want to walk off your breakfast. We have only eaten breakfast there but they hooked me with their...More

Glad I listened to the reviews because the praline bacon at Elizabeth's delivers as advertised. That sweet and salty combo can't be beat--especially at breakfast! And the grits are THE BEST I ever tasted. Granted, I'm a Yankee from up North, but these were he...More

Traditional Nola brunch with rotating specials. Upstairs bar serves stiff cocktails while you wait. Busy peak hours definitely means a long wait, but food like praline bacon, chicken and waffles, and crabcakes benedict make it all worth it. Loud with somewhat slow service, but loved...More

We've been in town 4 days and all we've heard is "for the best breakfast in New Orleans go to Elizabeth's!" What a let down. We ordered an egg breakfast, the praline bacon, fried chicken livers, and french toast. Most was just ok. I'll give...More

A New Orleans must! The "praline bacon" is enough reason to eat here! Crabcakes Benedict is phenomenal. Shrimp omelette is great as well! Last visit was on a Friday morning and there was no wait and quick service! One of the best brunches in NOLA!

Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go
out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere
in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the
festivities, well then so much the better! Home to
some of the most revered live music venues in New
Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining
