This shop came highly recommended by a volunteer at the WWII museum. The Ferdi is the house special. It's a ham and debris sandwich, debris being shredded roast beef with au jus. It's messy, as it should be.

My wife and I shared a soft shelled crab platter and a bowl of gumbo for lunch. Both were excellent. Side dishes were good too. Long line, but it moves quickly. Not cheap, but very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food..

We had a nice lunch. The debris sandwich was great and the gumbo was wonderful. The wait was worth it.

Went here as soon as we arrived. Good food and descent prices. Line seemed long but went extremely quick. Food is what they say it is. So good and the scents of different plates were everywhere

Always eat here when visiting New Orleans. Takes a little time to figure out the system (how to order, how you get food, which door to go out)) but then feels like home. Food is basic but reasonable cost and filling.

For me just average food and service. Ho Hum restaurant! Box Cajun meals are as good (Zatarains). Looking forward to more New Orleans may have to offer?

We enjoyed brunch here during our visit to NOLA. The crawfish etoufee omelet was something special. I'm sure the dinner would have been good here as well.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
