We opened with an excellent Old Fashioned and a Lilette Rouge, followed by the outstanding sweetbreads and a good beet appetizer. The mixed green salad was fine. The hanger steak entree was the best of its kind I have had, deeply flavorful and tender. The...More

Went there as a party of 4, on a Thursday night. Typical uptown spot with a good bar next door (I believe common ownership). We shared the shrimp and the lobster bake appetizers. Both very good. I could have had the lobster bake for my...More

All parts of our recent meal at Lilette were truely enjoyable. From the attentive staff to the interesting decor, our meal at Lilette was very enoyable. Both our Hanger Steak and Salmon entrees were extremely well prepared and a delite to the tastebuds...and the Nutella...More

Delicious food, good service. My creamy sunchoke soup was fabulous and my husband liked the Italian Wedding soup. He loved his lamb shoulder with gnocchi, although it was bit fatty. I ordered the duck medium, it was a bit rarer than I would have liked....More

This was a very busy restaurant with a stellar reputation. The food was excellent and the service was on point. We began with the sweetbreads and the escargot. Both of these starters were great! For the entree, my guest had the spearfish with pea puree....More

We saved Lilette for our last evening prior to departing New Orleans. We should have chosen a different venue: Pros: Charming hostess, somewhat romantic setting, Servers looked ready for a fashion show, attractive table settings, attentive wait staff. Cons: We were seated adjacent to the...More

Dress is casual, but to be proper I would t wear sweatpants. But even jeans and a polo would be fine. The food is not “haute cuisine” served on big plates with two bites, but in terms of quality it is fine dining.
