We had the escargot, hanger steak, and roasted chicken. It was so delicious we enjoyed the environment, the service, and every bite was amazing. We plan to return and check out the rest of the menu.

The restarant was very good with a laid back attmophere. Knowledgable staff able to talk through an interesting menu. A good choice of wines to accompany the dishes helped make for a very enjoyable dinning experience.

Great place for brunch; the burrata appetizer was delicious and so was the French onion soup sandwich. Dessert menu looked great but we were to full to try. Definitely recommended!!

Clean, small restaurant with a fun upbeat vibe. All the staff seems to be on point and working together well. Our waiter Shane was fantastic. We loved the bottomless mimosas that come with fun "shrubs". We split 3 appetizers of beef carpaccio, Burrata and smoked...More

I ordered the mezcal with chai and a variety of other esoteric ingredients which I thought worked very well together--maybe not as well as the Sazerac at the Roosevelt, but great for an original (?) creation. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the food very much--I got...More

We have been here many times before they changed owners. Decided to give it a try with the new ones and were not disappointed!! The escargot was good. Not the best I have ever had but good!! I ordered scallops. They were cooked to perfection...More

The mushroom gravy in the biscuit & gravy was out of the world. Very sophisticated take on chicken and dumplings. I compare all crepes we had at Versailles, so that's not a fair comparison. We ordered mimosas by the glass ( and the server was...More

Meaux bar is our go to restaurant for excellent food, service, and drinks in New Orleans. For starters the cheese plate and Duck fat popcorn are outrageous. The hanger steak is tender and served well. The best dish in the restaurant hands-down is the fish...More

Paris, New Orleans--from here it looks the same! Duane served my husband and I outstanding scallops and redfish almondine. We will be back to this gem.

Wife and I went on a Friday night. The were unable to seat us at our appointed time, so we sat at the bar and had a few of their wonderful cocktails. We both agreed that the tequila cocktail with the ancho chili was about...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

I go there frequently and it's across the board from nice jeans and a polo to sport coats. Although, dress is mostly business casual. In the hot humid Summers patrons do wear dress shorts. It's mostly a French Quarter... More

I wouldn't go to any restaurant in Louisiana if you have a life threatening seafood allergy.

Located on a picturesque corner of the Vieux Carre, Meauxbar is a vibrant neighborhood gem. A typical evening finds an eclectic mix of French Quarter residents, locals from across the city, as well as out of town visitors. Accessible and smart, with a unique worldview, our food and beverage menus are reflected in locally-inspired, modern bistro fare created by Chef John Bel.

Our menu rotates seasonally, though some classics remain throughout: Escargot with Shitake Mushrooms and Brioche Toast is a guest favorite. Our Moules Frites in a Pastis Broth with Garlic Fennel Aioli appeals to those in search of a Bistro classic, while our Lamb Loin with Celery Root & Potato Puree, Beets, and a Fig Demi Glace perfectly exemplifies Chef Bel's vision and style. Our wine program is Old World in style with some New World influences and is very approachable.

Our core philosophy is centered around the whole dining experience: great food and service, memorable moments, culture, warmth, energy, and a celebratory feel. We want to be a part of our guests' lives.
