You know when the locals lead you here, it is probably gonna be the real deal. I go here every time I am in New Orleans. Their char-grilled oysters are reason enough, but everything else they have is just as fantastic. The soft shell crab,...More

We were told by many to eat here, we don't even like oysters, but of course you come to New Orleans for the food!! Turns out oysters can be great!! A must for anyone!!

Too much hassle to actually get in and get seated (there was a line outside the door with a bouncer like a nightclub) for what ended up being a very mediocre food experience. Terrible? Nah. Overrated? Definitely

Enjoyed a great beer and a dozen chargrilled oysters. The O’s were very good - topped with cheese and breadcrumbs and served with sliced French bread.

Some people said that the oysters were just a good elsewhere.... nope theyre wrong. These are the best grilled oysters! My favorite meal of my trip! The servers are very quick and friendly as well (even with the Saints game playing)!

Great place everyone was so nice and helpful. The food was excellent we had grilled oysters and gumbo, if you are on a low sodium diet watch out. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Came here twice and it is a bit overrated. The broiled oysters are good but everything else is alright. No happy hour and long line up after 7. Not sure if I'll come back for a third time

So many nice places to eat in NOLA. There is no reason to stand on line for the Acme Oyster house. I won't do it again. Food was okay but the place was noisy, busy and not super clean. Felt like a tourist trap.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

When I visited Acme there was a line, but I went up to the front and they found a table for me right away because the other parties were bigger. I think you will always find a line because it’s New Orleans’ best. You can... More
