A group of us were attending a conference in New Orleans and decided to have dinner here. To start, we had fresh gulf coast oysters. I had the seafood gumbo and fried shrimp for dinner. Everything was delicious especially the fried shrimp.

We made reservations for 6:45 on a busy Friday night. We arrived about five minutes early and were seated on time. Our waiter was outstanding and catered to our light appetites. We were looked after by the floor manager as well. When the waiter was...More

I have visited Bourbon House many times and have given it 5 star reviews. Never in my many dinner experiences ( I dine out daily) have I encountered a waiter as rude, impertinent and arrogant as Michael. Nothing was his fault - very slow service...More

We shared a Crabcake appetizer which was very good. I had the Redfish on Half shell which was very good. Boiled potatoes served with it was just ok. My husband had the fried shrimp/fried catfish/fried oyster combination...minus the oysters. (They gave him more shrimp/fish.). The...More

The food was avg, pricey for what you get. Service was great. I'm not sure if I would go back or not.

When traveling with friends we looking forward to our dinner at the Bourbon House. Previous experiences were memorable. That wasn't the case this time. We were rushed through our mediocre dinner. The "Captain" didn't smile or act friendly until he delivered the check. This has...More

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
