Referred by a local, my friends and I took that local's advice: "Order only ONE monsoon....you'll only need one". He was soooooo right. We stopped in for a quick bite to hold us over to dinner so we ordered the Muffaletta pizza to split. It...More

I used to go here in the 80's and it has not changed much. The mushroom cheeseburgers are outstanding, They only come with baked potatoes and not fries. I recommend getting the free bacon bits and chives (they are plentiful). My personal opinion is paying...More

This place has the best burger and baked potato in NOLA, hands down! Their specialty drink, the Monsoon, which is akin to Pat O’s Hurricane, is also a must try while there! Because the Port of Call is an iconic restaurant with great food, expect...More

We knew the burgers were going to be big but wow, they were huge and delicious! The baked potato that comes with it is also amazing. The drinks are huge and soft drinks have free refills.

I haven’t had a burger this good in three years, and that was during my prior visit to Port of Call. Fantastic loaded baked potato perfectly complemented the burger & beer. Had a giant go-cup of their specialty monsoon/typhoon rum drink which was really... wow!...More

Although my medium well ordered burger came back well done, it was still good. The loaded potato stole the show. You will not be disappointed. I ordered with no bun.

We waited outside for nearly an hour on a Thursday night, but man it was worth it. The baked potatoes are off the chain. Just put your name on the list, go get a beer from the corner store opposite and settle in for some...More

The aroma of burgers and steaks on the grill wafts through the air and draws you in. The burger was absolutely the best I've had in a very long time. I got there just before 11 am and a line of about a dozen people...More

Was a very small place with a very limited menu. If you love cheeseburgers this place is the right place. Large backed potatoes and fresh large burgers. The restaurant is very small and dark. Overall a good experience.

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

I don’t think so. Because it is a kind of bar we almost don’t see children but I heard they can get in.
