Avoid it .......even though locals recommend it. We (4) spent $170 for lunch which was the same $ as Commanders Palace lunch .....which is 100 times better!!!!!! Food only fair and small portions. Better places to eat!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the French Quarter. Service is great, the food is wonderful and portions sizeable, and the ambiance is old school elegance.

The place was jumping! Lots of people enjoying their friends and the delicious food. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I always get the same entree. We were served by a very nice woman who put a bib around my neck and warned...More

I often bring out-of-town guests here for the great seafood (traditional dark roux gumbo is great) and an old-school club atmosphere in the heart of the French Quarter. My favorite time is actually late lunch, but I've enjoyed dinner and the jazz brunch also. Without...More

We arrived right before 2, not knowing they close from 2-5:30, when they re-opened for dinner. They were very nice and seated us. We tried the soup trio, fried catfish fingers and the duck confit egg rolls. As a couple we shared them and were...More

Valerie was our waitress. She didn't converse with us much but her demeanor was polite. Food was delish. We had the veal and filet with the crawfish soup

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Not sure if they have a private area. When you come in the front door they have a bar on the right side with a dining area. They also have a larger dining area on the left side as you walk in. We dined on the left side and... More
