In the middle of the French Quarter, it is easy to wander into a tourist trap. Pere Antoine's has a lovely staff with Southern hospitality, full of recommendations and tips on what to eat and do in NOLA. I had the Catfish Etoufee and it...More

Stopped in for a couple of drinks with friends. Service was attentive and the restaurant was beautifully decorated and kept up. Since they’re on a corner, they have nice wrap-around rooms which open up to the street outside. Their “Hurricane” drink was just OK… rather...More

Ask for Stephanie at the bar. They provided lovely food and drink and and great local advice on where to go and what to see. I followed their advice and it made my trip.

This summer I travelled across the US for three months and can honestly say that the food I ate at this restaurant in Nola was by far the best meal of the whole trip. We found the restaurant by happy coincidence and I was pleasantly...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
