Found this place by accident. Quick service, great beignet, great coffee and a nice walk inside and outside of the mall!

Beignets are just as good. The vibe is commercial since its in the mall with lots of tourist people coming off the cruise liners and airport people in the nearby hotels.

could not ask for fresher coffee or beignets, absolutely well worth the wait if you see a line. they move very quickly and serve you very well.

We've been to this location several times and the coffee and beignets are identical to the original location. It's very convenient if you're staying at the Hilton Riverside since you can walk over in the morning. They open at 8 am. We recently went on a Sunday morning around 9 and there were only about 10 people in line. Plenty... More

Just love beignets- and these are the best. What it fascinating is that the things you can buy to take home are a lot cheaper than in the rest of the mall!

You can't come to New Orleans and not go to Cafe Du monde! We enjoyed a table close to the street while a musician played jazz on a saxophone. The service was quick and the beignets were hot as expected.

CdM was recommended as a must-place for NOLA beignets and they were really good. Good value for the price too. The cafe au lait was watery for this lover of strong coffee.

We ate here twice during our stay. Food was great both times. Be prepared to be sat at a dirty table. I guess that's their method, they try to sit you fast, then someone comes and cleans the table while taking your order. Always a ton of people there and the kids loved the sweets. Try not to wear black... More

This was my first trip to Café Du Monde, and my first time eating Beignets. The Beignets were good, but they only come 3 to an order. They are kind of big, so I can see where it could be a little difficult to always eat all three. I also had the hot chocolate, which was very good. There is... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
