The counter lady was quite rude and condescending. We walked in and took about 5 minutes to look at the menu and decide what we wanted. "You guys took FOREVER to decide...just saying." Well yeah, being our first time blindly walking into a random cafe...we're not going to know exactly what we want the moment we walk in, granted we... More

Just out of the French Quarter and breakfast with some fine tweaking on the classics. Had three breakfasts a short walk from our flat. Good coffee and fresh juices, and I recommend their eggs Benedict, granola or BLT on Multigrain bread. Many other choices with friendly self-help service and good WiFi,not always easy to find in the Quarter.

I've returned to Cafe Rose Nicaud for multiple meals on my past three trips to New Orleans. As far as I've found, this is the only place in the Frenchman vicinity that makes a generous and nutritious salad, The cafe is charming and is patronized by a mix of health-conscious tourists and locals. Breakfast is great and is a bit... More

Had the Nicaud Rose Benedict and waited 2 years to have this flavor one more time. Not disappointed at all. Love the place. Locals go and it is comfortable. Take your computer or phone and relax.

I walked with my parents, aunts and uncle from Rampart down Frenchman St. We hungry, saw the menu in the window, and walked in on a whim. Everyone had a different sandwich and there was nothing left on any plate at the end. I had a chance to chat with the server at the counter and she was delightful. This... More

Checking out Frenchman Street during the day to get our bearings and stumbled upon this place. Stopped in for a drink and a snack. Nice little deli like place. Nice menu and good service.

On way from our AirBNB, to the market, came across on Frenchman St. The service is excellent, and the food is Wonderful. Little bit of a Jamaican flavor. 2 couples, a variety of different foods. From Breakfast Burrito, Southern Breakfast (Alligator sausage 'Amazing'), and Veggie Scramble. All was very good. Highly Recommend.

My husband had a great breakfast meal w/ alligator sausage. I had a great BLT (yes they have things served at breakfast time that suit those of us who do not revel in regular breakfast fare).

Nice old building, with excellent service and great food. Enjoyable experience. We ate omelet, alligator sausage, grits and fruit bow with coffee, everything was tasty and astrosphere was great.

The breakfast/brunch I've had there is probably closer to 4 stars- perfectly good, a number of great options. But the cinnamon rolls... I've visited Cafe Rose Nicaud every trip to New Orleans, and whether I eat a roll alone or share it with a friend, it's always worth it. Just make sure you ask them to warm it up.
