Stopped in for a quick lunch and had crab claws. They were delicious. Loved the open atmosphere. Heard this was Johnny Carson’s favorite restaurant so we wanted to check it out. We enjoyed it so much we had lunch there again the next day. Crab...More

Best casual dining we have had in the French Quarter. Great atmosphere, and extremely casual, good drinks, the softshell crabs were perfect – and my wife’s blackened Redfish was outstanding. The raw oysters were some of the best I’ve ever had. Yum!

This is an older restaurant in the French Quarter. The decor was not fancy and the seats were torn. However, I will go back there any time I visit new orleans. The charbroiled oysters were so fantastic, I could have eaten 1000 of them. Forget...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Walk to Canal St and catch a city bus. It puts you off and you walk toward the back of the bus 2 blocks. I THINK the bus left from Canal & Magazine Streets. The museum is on Andrew Higgins Dr. between Camp and Magazine... More
