I also know people who have had breakfast here, and they enjoyed that! It wasn't the best food ever, but it was reasonably... More

Ate breakfast here twice during our first trip to NOLA because we loved the food and especially the coffee. Servers were fantastic, and we saw locals who drop in every morning. Open 24 hours, great menu. Beware of the no split checks rule (very popular in NOLA).

Casual worn look, great place to have a laid back dinner when arriving in NOLA late. The service was very good and the hamburger I had was cooked to perfection.

We stayed right across the street from Deja Vu Bar and it was such an easy spot to enjoy. Friendly, competent and knowledgeable wait staff and bartenders. We tried lots of stuff off the menu and were never disappointed. Seems like the kind of place that has been at it a long time for good reason. It's laid back and... More

Wonderful, quirky wait staff. Took great care to make sure that we were taken care of. Nicole gave us a great suggestions where to eat and let me say she knocked it out of the park with the Pelican Club. She chilled our shots just the way we like and suggested we try a couple of beers that were local... More

We were a party of 8 looking for a nice cool spot to cool our heels and enjoy a beer on the way to the parades. Bert served us come cold Coors Lights and took care of our birthday girl who happens to be pregnant by getting her a chair and an ice cold bottled water. Surprisingly large bathroom for... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
