Luke was a great recommendation from the hotel. It has a tremendous, fun 'old New Orleans' vibe going. The staff was great -- very fun, professional, and attentive. The pasta was great. I wish I had time to come back to try more things. The...seafood looked great. Not cheap, but well worth the price for quality and service.More

Cocktails were great but service very slow. The food overall was overly fatty and not wonderful. The bouillabaisse would have been great if the toast weren’t covered in a ton of cheese. Shrimp and grits had tails on the shrimp which was not ideal as...well as way too much cheese. Recommend skipping this one given the extreme food culture in N.O.More

I would rate a little higher than 4.0. Food was great. It was a bit noisy and not as elegant as I was expecting but I would dine here again. We had the pate which was delicious but rich and we couldn't finish it. Hubby...had the mahi mahi with lentils - yummy. I had the bouillabaisse (dang, that's a hard word to spell), which was wonderful and came with 2 huge hunks of toasty bread for dunking, also delicious. Bread pudding for dessert which was good but not necessary and I feel I could pull off a decent bread pudding at home.More

Stayed here a few nights passing through the state. Stopped into Luke twice during our stay. While the food was good, they charge outrageous prices for drinks. I don't understand why? $17.00 for a low ball Gin & Tonic. It could be a better business...practice to have realistic drink prices, therefore encouraging patrons to purchase additional drinks and hang out. Again, your establishment is not that special.More

This is the last time I will ever go to this restaurant. Last year during Mardi Gras a rat was under our table. Tonight, after finishing our meal a cock roach was walking the ledge right beside our table along the window where the kitchen...is viewed. While I understand that this is common place in New Orleans, enough is enough! When our waiter was informed, he stated, it is not my problem and would not get the manager. While the food may be good in this restaurant, they definitely have issues with cleanliness! The NO health department really should inspect this facility. I and the rest of my party are absolutely disgusted!More

We had a great weekday dinner here. +: We both got steak frites--mine was perfect and my husband's was almost perfect (his was medium rare and came out not quite as warm as he'd like). The serving sizes were generous. +: The ambiance was warm...and and had a slightly polished feeling to it. +: The server was pleasant and quite prompt with taking our order, bringing our food, and doing the check. +: We did not have reservations, but were seated quickly (we were there at about 6:15 on a Wednesday). -: The only downside was that it was a little pricey, but the price matched the quality in our experience. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g60864-d658993-r935460351-Luke-New_Orleans_Louisiana.html#More

Totally blown away by this small restaurant in New Orleans. The tuna tartare was very different than any other that I had AND some of the best. Followed the tartare with a bowl of seafood gumbo. OUTSTANDING with a dark brown roux. A must have.

2 people in our party ordered the shrimp and grits and both of them were not Impressed. Neither of them ate it all. I asked the server if the salad was a side salad or a meal and was told it was a huge salad....Definitely not! One person in our party asked the server a question about the menu and was called “bruh” which we all thought was disrespectful. (Used in the manner which indicated that he was being bothered.) We will not be going back.More

I was staying close and decided to go here for my last meal in New Orleans. As a single, I was seated at the bar. That was fine with me. I found the wait staff very attentive. I had a tasty vodka pomegranate cocktail to...start followed by the beet salad with a good dollop of crab and the seafood bouillabaisse. The salad was large - easily meal sized - and the bouillabaisse was not. That being said, both were delicious and full of rich flavours. The harissa came through beautifully in the bouillabaisse. All in, a good spot.More

Very good food! Ate there twice during this NOLA visit. Everything was good; from the fried oysters on salad, raw oysters, pate to the chicken and waffles. Truly first class!

Amazing hotel restaurant inside the Hilton St. Charles. We ate dinner and had breakfast here twice. The food was tasty and portions were huge! They also offer a fantastic happy hour. Raw bar, Pate with a huge amount and variety of house made pickles, and...chicken biscuit sandwich were the highlights.More

Best Bloody Mary and mimosa! Stopped in here for lunch and thrilled with our delicious lunch! I got the Southern Breakfast and it totally surpassed its humble description! Smoked bacon, incredible sausage, creamiest ever grits and a huge southern biscuit with whipped butter and apple...spread. My husband had the spinach and mushroom omelette that he said was delicious! He loved the lightly dressed salad that came with it, too. We highly recommend this fabulous find!More

We were staying at the Hilton next door and had breakfast here every morning. Breakfast each day was great! We should have split the chicken and biscuit, it was huge. So delicious. The next two days we split our meals. The blue crab omelet is...most delicious as are their jalapeño cheese grits. Now let's talk coffee. They do a French press, for $4. And that includes refills! The coffee is outstanding. Great service as well. Overall highly recommend.More
