We just ate dinner and were very happy with our restaurant choice. The shrimp was the best, the grits were creamy & flavorful and the gumbo was scrumptious! The waitress was (Emma) was adorable and attentive 😊

My wife and I had dinner here Oct. 4. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We had the shrimp ju ju as our appetizer and split a shrimp caminada - po- boy. Both were delicious and plentiful. Please give this place a try when in New Orleans.

Had every intention of eating well until I saw the desserts. I chose a house salad with chicken which was very good so that I could eat the carrot cake cheese cake. My husband had the same, but lemon ice box pie. We didn't share...More

I don’t post negative review as a rule as I owned an Inn with a restaurant, so I know both sides of the fence. I also take into consideration that other experiences in much better restaurants can influence my opinion. Be advise this place is...More

This was our first taste of New Orleans and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent, wait staff was friendly, and we were served quickly.

Where do I begin? My favorite are the smoked oysters with garlic aioli. The oysters are marinated first and cold smoked and then fried. Amazing! We’ve had several things here and never disappointed. The servers are great, too.

The food was pretty good, but the service, though friendly and helpful, was very slow. We waited nearly forty minutes for our appetizers to arrive. The drinks arrived early on so that was good, but still. We were placed in the bar area and it...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
