I literally ran three miles from downtown to try this place. I had an éclair and spumoni and both were excellent. It was definitely worth the 6 miles roundtrip of running, although I don’t believe that would burn off even half of the calories. There...More

This is my favorite dessert shop in the city. Their desserts are traditional Italian pastries and ice cream. The cannolis and gelato are the best things in the shop. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable. Most people go to Sucre or Cafe du Monde...More

We knew this delightful shop when it was in the French Quarter on Urseline St. It had a double entrance, one for men, one for women. The current location is still faithful to creating traditional Italian pastries, most notably cannoli. The shells are made on...More

True Italian pastries as one would expect. If the line waiting to order isn't outside the door, go for it! Cannolis and almond crescents are killer.

Don't go if you are in a hurry..there is always a line waiting to get in but it's worth the wait. The pastries are always fresh and even the coffee is great.

Great dessert place. Has been in business in New Orleans for more years than I can count. For ices (lemon, strawberry, mango, etc) - it's Brocato's. For cannolis with the real fill - it's Brocato's. The place is always packed and all of the desserts...More

Great place to shop and carry special treats to bring to friends. Their cookies and pastries are appreciated wherever we visit.

The Brocato family is the real deal, Brocato's pastries and treats are the best in New Orleans. The authentic charm and friendly family and staff always make you feel welcome and runs a close second to some of my favorite spots in Palermo Sicily.

After going to Sicily, my husband and I made a bee line to Brocato’s when we returned. It was and has always been magical! Every detail reeks of Sicily! They even have their ingredients flown over to them. The flavors are so authentic.

Cannoli freshly filled on order, best anywhere. Even better than those famous places in New York's and Boston's Little Italy. Ices always great with seasonal flavors. Hard to beat the original strawberry and lemon ices but blackberry and raspberry also wonderful. Usual Gelato flavors with...More
