Called to make a reservation and message said to make it online which turned out to be the Open Table link on their website. Got to the restaurant on time (Thursday, 8:15P) and the place was closed.

Made the mistake of reserving a table on Cinco de Mayo. We were met with total disinterest. Once seated, we waited for quite a long time and finally had to flag down a waitperson. We wanted specialty margaritas and gave specific instructions, but the bar...More

We were looking for a place for a late dinner one evening and mutual friend suggested Mayas. We were staying down Magazine so a short drive was OK. The restaurant is small, nice décor, great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. We enjoyed the time...More

We spent Christmas diner on this restaurant and the food was excellent. For the first time and without regret having tried this South American cuisine. All the dishes were hearty and excellent.I recommend this place.

Disappointed, actually. Salsa was way too sweet, almost like eating duck sauce. The guacamole was really good, but my Blue Tomato salad was ruined by far too much dressing. I was really looking for that sharp blue cheese taste, but it was almost tasteless. Might...More

It's not a vegetarian restaurant but there were more than enough veg options for me. Frankly, between the chips & guacamole (tasted fresh made and great) and the mushroom nacatamal (another appetizer) I was full. Didn't need an entree. I'll have to go back to...More
