A group of us ate here the day of the Endymion Mardi Gras parade. I had read a review that the food was good and reasonably priced. The service was excellent although we had to get special permission to use the restroom. The food was blandly below average. When we received the bill a $2 surcharge had been added to... More

There are many pretend Mexican places within 3 blocks of this restaurant. This is the only one that is real..from the owners to servers to the actual food. Weekends you can get menudo...the soup for champions...tripe goodness cooked down or the seafood soup. The burritos and other favorites are large and best value for money. The chips and salsa are... This is an authentic Mexican food restaurant like we had back home. They served any kind of meat like, Tripa beef, chicken, lengua, pork carnitas, chicharron and more...... Guerrero not only serves it, they serves it like I ate in Mexico and the kitchens of my Mexican family. The moment you walk in the door you feel like you've stepped... More

Came across this low-key, casual restaurant by accident. Good crowd inside for lunch. Decided to give it a try. Server was very friendly. Food came out quickly. Everything was very delicious. My wife had chicken tacos that were jam packed and flavorful. Tostados for me with beans and rice. Very satisfying. This is exactly the kind of place I love,... More

This place is a hole in the wall and its genuine from the tripe soup to any and all tacos, tostados, huevos rancheros, real comfort food and cheap as can be. There is a bar next door so just order your cerveza and bring it over. The plates are enough for 2 and all of the Latinos are there so... More

They have typical "Mexican" food, but the baleadas are wonderful, the tamales rock (but spicy) and the tacos are goof too.

I ate here today with my 2 sons and my husband. We just got back from visiting Mexico for vacation 2 weeks ago and we were craving some of the authentic food we had there. This place is exactly that. My husband and I had the chicken and carne asada tacos and my sons shared the chicken and cheese quesadilla... More

Great Mexican restaurant in Mid City New Orleans. Lots of good choices for cheap price but worth every penny. In the same strip as Brocatos Italian desserts.

So we were staying in to watch the NBA playoffs so we had to get some good food to go. Our son who lives nearby said this was the best place for burritos. Being from California, I'm a Mexican food snob, but this place made me feel right at home. Loved the green sauce!

Quick service & excellent food. Visited with them this morning for breakfast. Prices are reasonable given the size of the servings. I had the menudo, which was a little bland, but hit the spot either way. Breakfast plates looked amazing. Will definitely come back
