We stopped here before heading to the airport to fly home. It was quick and tasty. We all had sandwiches that were fresh and filling. The portion size was just right for lunch. My daughter had the peanut butter pie; it was awesome!! The staff was friendly and efficient. Would definitely eat here again.

We took a two week driving tour of South Dakota and the meal here is the one we remember the most fondly. Everyone raves about the pies and with good reason. They are awesome! But we thought the chicken pot pie was the best we have ever eaten, even home cooked.

Purple Pie Place is a favorite spot for locals and tourists! Sit outside and enjoy your favorite dessert! The servings are huge, and flavors (pies and ice cream) change frequently so there's always something new to try. I'm a local and bummed they close down every winter!

What a nice place. The pies are amazing. They are so good and such a nice selection. Due to the size of the slices it was our dinner that night.

Amazing Bumble berry pie! Incredible combination of Apple, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry and rhubarb. My favorite pie! We stop by here every time we get to the Blackhills. They are full every time so we always get a pie to go but It looks like now they may be adding on. They do close during the off season.

Stayed in Custer for 4 days and hit this place up twice...their pies had us coming back. A piece of pie with a scoop of ice cream is about $5.00....not cheap but well worth it. You can sit inside or at pick-nic tables outside. It also has a retaurant in the back of their building, but we did not eat... More

This is a fun place to go for dessert. We love to try all of the different types of pie. They also have an amazing rhubarb plant out back that they use to make the rhubarb pie.

Chicken pot pies followed by four different types of desert pies, peach, peanut, blackberry and strawberry. And the best banana milkshake ever. Cool and cooky place, great waitress, quick service

My friend and I thought our pie was wonderful, but my husband wasn't thrilled with his choice. Very friendly place.
