What a shame! A really good spot and actually very decent food. BUT: the waiters are arrogant but TOTALLY incompetent and slow. It actually must be quite difficult to find so many incapable waiters...

Anton is a bar, a restaurant and there is also a café under the bar . We visited the bar a couple of times for après ski, usually packed and the service can be a bit slow. the prices are ok though the Anton Grunbeck is the café part of Anton bar, it is quite small and people share tables... More

I like to stop off at this bar as it can have a good vibe and great location next to the slopes. But I always forget until I walk in how bad the service can be. It's always quiet when I have been, but am always ignored by the staff or looked at as if asking for something is against... More

Awful rude staff who ignore you. Takes AGES to get served, orders are often wrong and food is average. Tried a couple of times to make sure we hadn't just hit it on a bad day but both times were terrible. Enjoyed the moment where the waitress rolled her eyes at us when we ordered some beers. A real highlight.

We popped in for a quick lunch whilst skiing in the st Anton area. We were a large group of 14 so we were very happy to get seats inside all at the same table. We ordered are food very quickly after arriving in the restaurant and it came very quickly after that. The food was very well cooked and... More

We have been several times in the evening to Anton for drinks. Great atmosphere and good music. Today we had lunch, the burgers were overcooked, the club sandwich was missing finesse (it just looked nice) and the lammcurry... What lamm ? And curry ?? No way. Just go here for drinks

We stopped here for drinks a few times, both at the main Anton cafe and the Square bar and found the service to be good every time. On one occasion we had a meal and I had a very tasty.... no, delicious....lamb curry with rice and poppadoms. The key attraction of this cafe is the location, right at the foot... More

Finding decent coffee in St Ankton near the Gamben/Ganzlig skilift area can be a challenge. Not so in the Grünbeck espressobar, part of the Anton restaurants (underneath to be exact). Best coffee in St Ankton, nice little place, quite a pleasant change to the bars right next to the lifts.
