Any bad reviews of the restaurant at 29 Palms won't chime with our experience. We've eaten here as a family of 3, 4 and 5 people, around 20 times in total since 1998. Every tine has been superb. Alright, the desert is awesome and the pool surrounds and the hotel are also fabulous, even the modest interior is great, but... More

We ate here five of the seven nights we were in Twentynine Palms. The good was excellent (best by far in town), the cocktails were very good, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the live music was a bonus. We were able to sit outside most nights. Be prepared to wait between 20-40mins for a table. You can also... More

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The location is great as it is on the outskirts of the city. My wife had the Salmon and I had the catch of the day which was an halibut and wa really good. No IPA on tap but the bottled one was very good.

Thank you for your kind review of our restaurant. Happy to hear you had an enjoyable meal, and our staff made a lasting impression. Great news to share with you - we now have three choices for beer on tap, including a fantastic IPA from a company called Hangar 24, a craft brewery in Redlands, California. You'll have to come... We needed Sandwiches to take with us for our day Joshua Tree NP. Called ahead, ordered a BLT and, wow! It was waiting for us in a just a few moments and nicely packed with a fruit salad. Best of all, delicious and enough to share. By the way, the bar/restaurant looked like a fun place to hang out. Maybe... More

A must stop if you visit the Joshua Tree Area. The history and grounds have a story to tell. The restaurant cuisine is delicious with excellent cocktails by the pool side! They have their own herb and vegetable garden products which are served in the restaurant. This place can be very busy and popular. You should walk through the grounds... More

We have been coming to Joshua Tree for over 10 years but this was our first time staying at The 29 Palms Inn. It won't be our last! We stayed in Tidy Tips, a very clean, very cute, dog friendly stand alone adobe with a fireplace and lots of charm. The staff was very accommodating and helpful - Mica was... More

We had dinner here on a Tuesday evening after a day of exploring Joshua Tree. We had been warned of long wait times and urged to call an hour ahead to get on the Waiting List. However, there was no wait at all at 5:30. Half an hour later the place was packed. Friendly staff. The food was excellent as... More

Kitchy, grundgy and tasty. About the only hip place in 29 Palms. We showed up noonish on a Saturday in Late March. The menu was a mix of sandwiches, burgers, salads with a little Mexican thrown in. I ordered the "Grunt burger" 6 ounces of medium rare angus with swiss, lettuce, bbq sauce and grilled onions. I told them "hold... More

Description
Join us in our relaxed, art-filled restaurant for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Our menus feature fresh seafood, steaks and prime rib, pastas, salads and delicious vegetarian dishes. We take pride in baking our own sourdough bread daily, and making all of our own soups, dressings and desserts. When available, we incorporate fresh & organic fruits and vegetables from our own Faultline Farm. Dine poolside, or indoors, and enjoy live acoustic music seven nights a week. Visit our blog to see our monthly music schedules.

Our restaurant seats on a first come, first serve basis. We strongly recommend calling ahead 30-40 minutes before you plan on arriving to speak with our host. We will be happy to give you an update on how busy we are, and if there is a wait list, put your name it. To keep things flowing in our small dining room, we will direct large parties of 10 or more to make arrangements with our Restaurant Manager.
