What makes this breakfast taste so good is the view. Sit facing the ocean and have a nicely prepared omelet or Benedict and you'll find it most enjoyable. Service is friendly, portions generous and it makes for a great way to meet the day. Parking is available behind the restaurant and shopping complex.

Between the homemade bread, the perfectly cooked eggs, and the great service by Julie- this is a perfect place for breakfast. We would definitely go back again if ever in Hawaii again.

Bongo Ben seems to specialize in breakfast. Big plates with plenty of food. They are a good place for dinner and drinks also. Right on the main drag with sunset views.

The food here is really good! We ate there four times. Best fish & chips on the Island. Also had the moco loco, fish tacos, nachos, poke, and drinks. They are located right on the main drag looking at the water and very good for people watching. The staff are friendly and hard working. Pricing was better than most places... More

We stayed at the Royal Kona Resort. Searching for a place to eat within walking distance of our hotel we found Bongo Ben's. Great food, service and friendly. We were on the Big Island for ten days and most days we ate breakfast at Bongo Ben's. it was also a fun place.

They make their bread fresh daily and you can tell. Loved the bread! I ate their homemade whole wheat bread with butter and it brought back a flood of childhood memories! Sooooo yummy! Fresh omelettes and great bloody Mary's too.

Wanted to watch the sunset in a good location and have a drink, so we went to Bongo Ben's. Didn't realize that we got there right before their Happy Hour ended, so we got 1/2 off our second appetizer. My husband had the Teriyaki Steak with fries and I ordered the half portion of the Seafood Platter, since my husband... More

We were here for an early breakfast suggested to us by a local business owner, Kona Mike. We were so glad we took him up on his suggestion. My husband had a traditional breakfast with the Portuguese sausage and their homemade biscuit. He said it was the best biscuit he has ever had!!! I would have to agree it was... More

We'd heard rave reviews about Bongo Bens so we stopped for brunch one day. Food was great, there was so much choice on the menu. Staff member was super nice and made sure we always had drinks and cold water in the hot weather. Would return and recommend to family and friends.

We ate there every morning 15 years ago when we got married on the island. We went back for an anniversary trip and ate breakfast there again three times, ones came all the way from waikiloa just to eat their breakfast.
