After a day in Seward and hiking at Exit Glacier, we had a hankering for fish and chips. Terry's didn't disappoint. Delicious Halibut. Easy atmosphere, good bar and TV. Friendly waitstaff. It was just what we were craving.

Very convenient, walking distance from Harbor360. We actually we're greeted by Terry. He is very down to earth. He recommended the fish and chip special. Portions we're a little skimpy. We also had his chowder, very good.

The beer batter halibut is probably the best you will find in Seward. It was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The fish tacos were also very good.

My husband and I stopping in here for a bite of lunch after our Resurrection Bay tour. The food here was good, though not what we expected. I had the oysters and chips, and my husband the scallops and chips. They were breaded, not battered. Our server was very nice and did her job well.

This place was on the small side but the food and the service was great. We had the fish and chips. The portion size was great. If you just wanted something light for lunch one basket was enough for 2.

If you're looking for an experience in how a restaurant should not be run, stop into Terry's. 2 waitresses, 8 tables. The service should have been fantastic. Instead there was one waitress run off her feet trying to juggle everything alone while the other drifted aimlessly round looking generally confused. Several tables waited so long just for menus that they... More

We came here years ago and wanted to revisit it. Our waiter was obviously having a bad day and was not pleasant nor smiling and the service was mediocre. The pricing was unbelievably expensive for your basic fish and chips served in a plastic basic. Don't get me wrong- the fried rockfish was good but not for their prices. The... More

My wife and I had just eaten but everything coming out looked so good that we went back the next day. My daughter got chowder again. I got the rockfish tacos which were excellent My wife got the... Family owned & operated by family long-serving staff. Has been around Austin 43 years!! Mary is one of the employees who has stayed with Terry's for anout 20 years. It's a great indication of good ownerships when someone still raves about where they work, despite being in one place for that long! Mary was professional, friendly, & helpful and she... More

We liked Terry's for the standard fish & chips. It's a small, casual diner across from the harbor. It's less expensive than Rays or Chinooks, but still expect AK prices for halibut. We would definitely visit again.
