The restaurant has a cozy feel: not overly fancy, but good for a romantic evening out. The food is good quality Italian, with a nice selection of pastas and main dishes. It has an authentic taste. The staff is attentive and friendly. The owner is pleasant to talk with, and you can tell he keeps a sharp eye on things.... More

The aromas which greet you fulfill their promise of fabulous food! Authentic menu, lovely wine selection, terrific service only add to a wonderful experience. Generous portions mean you can have a bit for lunch the next day. I would definitely recommend the bruschetta, calamari and mussels as appetizers, although the polenta with truffle sauce was crazy good. I had the... More

This is a fantastic Italian restaurant in the University District. The veal scaloppine, the spaghetti, and the rigatoni alla Bolognese are quite delicious. The bruschetta and the involtini di malanzane are wonderful appetizers and the crab bisque is subtle and tasty. The service is good, but the star at this restaurant is the food. The wine list is impressive, especially... More

Quaint neighborhood restaurant in the University District. Very friendly staff. Great menu with pastas as well as other entrees. Large wine list. Only drawback is that they have no dedicated parking, but with some effort, street parking can be found.

Possibly the best Chicken Marsala I have ever tasted. Excellent service and atmosphere. My daughter loved her pasta Carbonara. The Tiramisu was a perfect finish to our meal. Thanks

Authentic and delicious food! We arrived at 7pm on a Thursday and were seated right away in this little corner restaurant that was half full. The ambience is cozy with light curtains separating areas for privacy and Italian music and opera playing in the background. Focaccia and truffle oil for openers. Once we ordered, the appetizer and my salad came... More

I had the linguini alle vongole, linguini with clams. Linguini was perfectly done, lots of clams, seasoned lightly with tomato and red pepper flakes. An excellent dish. They also have an extensive wine list with some great selections available by the glass. Service was excellent, the surroundings are very nice. They get pretty crowded, so you might check on reservations... More

Just got back from Italy a couple of months ago, and my wife and I have been to several Seattle Italian restaurants in search of the same quality of food and ambience we had in Italy - by far, this is the closest we have found! We will be back!

Up at UW, staying at the nearby University Inn. Asked the young guy on the desk for dinner recommendations and was not feeling confident about it but... He recommended this place and it was superb. Over a 3 night stay we had dinner there twice. Service was excellent, the food was oh so good and the ambience perfect. Between the... More
