I was surprised to see this place be a BBQ joint, but I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I was very impressed with the quality of gluten free eats at a BBQ spot and it was all very delicious! I would recommend... well everything. Definitely not a place to count calories, though.

We had pulled pork dinners and drinks. Great selection of whiskey, good side dishes, delicious pulled pork. I like that you can get it as a dinner or as a sandwich. Nice sauces on the table. Good cornbread. Service was great. One of the best barbecue places I've been to.

The Bitterroot is a nice place to go after a workout at the gym. My experience of the service is that it is consistently good. Had a pulled chicken sandwich and a beer on my most recent visit. I will be going back again soon.

Service was great. Drinks were great. Meal was good, but nothing special. I can make better at home. The ribs bordered on dry, with a snap to the skin when you bit into it. The grits tasted like they had flour in them. The greens were really good.

I have eaten here twice and we tried to celebrate a birthday here today. The waitress Shawn was so incredibly rude to one if our elderly guests when asking about a substitution....there is just no excuse. Besides her attitude being extremely rude she got our bill wrong twice.

I LOVE this food. You can't go wrong with any order here. We had this catered for lunch at my work yesterday and I had two sandwiches of pulled pork. The pickled onions on top and the mustard BBQ sauce made me go cross eyed it was so good. Once, for Thanksgiving I told my mom forget the turkey i'm... More

We really enjoyed the beef brisket and macaroni and cheese. Good sized portions at a reasonable price. This restaurant is just across the street from Hotel Ballard.

When I arrived, I was worried I wouldn't fit the scene, but I was pointed to the back (bar area) and the bartender greeted me warmly and asked if I was hungry. The macaroni and cheese was what I had read about and it didn't disappoint. Thanks, TripAdvisor and to my waiter Kyle! He recommended the onions (which I normally... More

The food here is really good, and it's location is also excellent. The beers on offer here are really good and they offer a good selection of beers from nearby breweries. Ballard is a really great suburb, love it

A very popular local BBQ restaurant in the heart of historic Ballard. Not your standard smothered in BBQ sauce place, this restaurant serves great sides, clean meats, and great BBQ sauce for you to add as desired. Do not skip the jalapeño hushpuppies or the coleslaw! Tip: This is a very small restaurant so if you don't have time to... More
