It’s a little out of downtown, but worth an Uber or a ride on the No. 11 bus. This is the best Japanese restaurant in Seattle with inventive cuisine and absolute knockout sushi. The food is fresh, inventive and consistently interesting. The sushi chefs know...More

Once upon a time in Seattle, Nishino was the premier sushi spot in the city. I used to dine there monthly in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Then more sushi joints started opening all over the city and there wasn’t a reason to drive all...More

Very nice food, dropped by impromptu after a visit to the Japanese Garden just around the corner. Had a great meal with tasty food and superb service! Nice and quiet restaurant, not too packed or too loud.

Exceptional service, innovative menu, wonderful food. We found Nishino by accident - we made a wrong turn and then googled sushi near me. What a find - loved the salmon tartar on crispy rice, the cold spinach, the dungeness crab spring roll, the fried oysters,...More

We took our family of 5 here on our first night in Seattle and loved it. The sushi was fresh and quite different/better than what we are used to in the DC area. We had a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all.

We're Sushi snobs and have tried to find a restaurant that meets our taste buds. This restaurant is it. What a find. This is authentic Sushi at it's finest. Try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Had the omakase dinner expecting chef’s choice sushi and instead got a Japanese culinary journey with only 1 course being sushi. Everything was perfectly cooked and I wanted to eat it again. You will likely need a reservation. I can’t wait to go back.
