Went here while looking for a nice plain, solid meal. It is brilliantly old style, like something out of a movie, except all the waiters are hipsters. I enjoyed the spaghetti with meatballs. It is very dark, which made reading difficult, but that was really my only complaint.

It's hard to find atmosphere like Vito's - a complete throwback to the 50s and 60s, and we almost expected to see the Rat Pack walk in. We weren't sure what to expect fairly early on a Sunday evening when we walked in and found the place doused in red leather, lots of wood, mirrors, and low lighting. A terrific... More

Vito's on Seattle's capital hill has all the ambience of an old speakeasy or zoot suit jazz joint feel of the 1940s. Vito's live music and dimly lit dining room are of a true relic of the days gone by. It is easy to pretend that the bartender has a Tommy stashed next to the Bourbon, ya know, just in... More

Stayed at a hotel nearby. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much we went back 4 times! Lots of standard italian food on the menu -- the most outstanding was the scallops on polenta. It was incredible. Great bar scene -- great cocktail menu. Loved listening to live music almost every night. Will definitely go again!

Place was recommended to us by a great bartender at another plqce after he found out we were staying at the Sorreno Hotel. After doing a foodie tour today, we trusged back toward our hotel. Vitos is the block away. Trule a throw back lounge. Can see why we were told this was a mob hangout years ago. Great happy... More

Vito's is a cool old style bar with live music. The band playing was very good and fitted perfectly into the bars ambiente. Prices are moderate. A reservation was not necessary, there where less people than expected and the entry was free.

This is a fun jazz bar with live music and great Italian food. Make sure to get reservations for nights with live music, otherwise you can sit at the bar or stand. The staff was very friendly and the bartender made amazing drinks. I would definitely go back here if I'm ever in Seattle again.

Attended a concert at the Town Hall and all the nearby restaurants were full. We ended up having antipasto platters at the bar. It was good but we didn't have enough time to have a meal so the circumstances were less than ideal. The bartender was our server.

Went here 4 times in 6 days while in Seattle. Staying at the Hotel Sorrento and found this great place within walking distance. Loving the food and the music. Had a salad with a side of meatballs - just the BEST!. Very friendly staff!

Vito's is a great local Italian restaurant with outstanding entertainment most nights. Pasta is fresh and gravy is wonderful.
