I love this quirky little bakery in Fremont, halfway between the Fremont Troll and the Lenin statue. You'll find offerings here you won't find elsewhere, with an exceptionally good raft of vegan and gluten-free options. Funky like you'd expect in the Center of the Universe, the clientele is heavily local and laid back. Which is great for sitting with a... More

I was excited to visit Flying Apron, in the Fremont area of Seattle. The bakery was pleasant inside, and the staff serving at the counter were friendly. I chose two items to take away with me - a cinnamon donut and a peanut butter magic bar - as the bakery was quite busy inside, and we decided to sit down... More

We both avoid gluten, and really enjoyed this bakery with a huge variety of gluten free pastries. Vegan too, if you so desire (I don't). A low cost interior where not one single stick of furniture matched another.....but it all added up to a great experience. Very good coffee too

Need a GF and DF wedding cake that doesn't taste GF and DF? Flying Apron is your place! We initially met with Elyssa who was the cake baker/decorator at Flying Apron in July and my husband and I did a whole tasting to find what kind we wanted. Everything we tasted was fantastic, and we ended up going with a... More

I was really excited about visiting this bakery, as visiting vegan restaurants and cafes is something I love to do when I travel. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I was a bit disappointed. The food we had was solid - husband had a cinnamon bun and said it was great, if not anything special. I had a curry... More

Do not bother trying to travel to this place which appears to be in a cultural quarter of Seattle and quite a journey from downtown with poor quality food and exceptionally rude service. There was a young man and a young lady behind the counter. The young lady behind the counter was incredibly impatient and inappropriate to me and my... More

We've gone twice (family is vegan, a relative is GF). The cookies and pies are great, the broccoli salad is great but when eating the cake, you have to remember it's GF

We needed some solid savory foods after overdoing the samples at the theo chocolate tour. We LOVED the broccoli salad here. The mac and cheese was in need of some salt, but loved the tumeric. The pizza was good, but the crust was a little thick and actually kinda spicey. Wished we had had room to try some of their... More

I had put this bakery on our itinerary as both my daughter and I are living with Celiac. We like to try new places, that we know are safe places for us to eat. It's completely gluten free and vegan. It's important to preface this because even though one eats gf and vegan, does not mean that taste, flavor and... More

Everything is amazing deliciousness - despite being gluten free AND vegan! So good you don't miss those seemingly irreplaceable ingredients.
