This place is fun the more folks you have with you. Tables seat 8 to 10 and the lazy susan in the middle lets everyone have access to the dim sum. They serve dim sum daily with a more elaborate fare on the weekends. I take tour groups to this one for lunch. We can eat for $10 each and... More

Dim Sum on a Sunday is a feast at the New Zhongshan King. Endless variety of quality choices. The walnut shrp and stick rice and egg custard and steamed vegetables - the list goes on and all are delicious. Get some friends together and go have some fun. The bigger the group, the more items you can try. Free parking... More

I haven't had dim sum in close to 15 years and this was my husband's first dim sum experience. This place was first recommended to us by an 87 year old Seattle businessman as well as new friends that my husband and I made during this trip. We met with friends for lunch and I would rate this experience excellent.... More

The Dim Sum is as good as any in Seattle but best of all, there is easy parking in the building! They have the usual fare, e.g. shiu mai, hambow etc. You can be in and out in 30 minutes!

Haven't really ventured to many other dim sum restaurants in the Seattle metro area. New Hong Kong has always been good quality dim sum, with a vibrant and busy atmosphere although situated in an odd building. The free parking garage is a bonus. My favorites are their hargaw, siomai, shark fin dumpling and sticky rice. Service is always quick and... More

We planned a morning after the wedding dim sum brunch for guests at our sons wedding. We got 45 RSVPs and reserved tables for 70. More than 100 people of very mixed ethnicity showed up for an anticipated feast. The New Hong Kong Restaurant more than met the challenge. We had preordered haw kau, sui mai, cha sui bow, egg... I have eaten at New Hong Kong many time throughout the years, for dinner, lunch and event banquet. I find this restaurant has consistent good value of what you expect to get for what you pay. The food is acceptable as a mainstream Chinese restaurant. The dim sum had good variety for lunch. The stir fry dishes sometimes can be... More

This is a relatively large restaurant in Seattle's International District (ID). My wife have been there twice for dim sum and both times, service and food was pretty good. The restaurant is big enough to hold banquets so the tables aren't too narrow where you would tend to bump into a neighbor in a smaller restaurant. I tend to judge... More

I had to go to this restaurant as part of a business dinner. Entering at 5:45 PM and being the ONLY people in the place should have been a sign. I love all Asian inspired food and I'm not sure how I would classify this dining experience. I think the server was giving it his best shot but the food... More

My wife and I attended a youth scholarship awards banquet for about 250 people. The stage and PA system were set up well. The food was plentiful and delicious. Free parking in their own garage was plentiful and convenient. All in all, a very good experience.
