We were taking a long walk all around Queen Anne and decided to stop in for something to drink. I had an iced americano which was good.

We stopped by for a coffee con leche and also had a Cuban pork (with jalapeños) empanada. I was pleasantly surprised by the empanada - great combo of flavor and the pastry was just right.

On our trip to Seattle, my husband and I tried as many coffee shops as we could. We hit El Diablo on a Monday night. The staff was really friendly and patient with us as we decided what to order. The ambiance was pretty cool too, although we would have enjoyed a few couches or comfy chairs to read in.... More

El Diablo is one of my favorite stops on Queen Anne for a relaxing Cuban-style espresso and pastry. The service is good. Usually three is parking nearby and a comfortable place to sit, converse, read or check your electronic device.

There are a lot of coffee shops in Seattle, and even a lot of great ones. Heck, tomorrow I might tell you I have three favorites, or ten. But for years now, El Diablo has been at the top of my list. It is, for today at least, my favorite. I've been coming to Diablo to hang, to work, and... More

While in Seattle for a wedding, one of my grandsons suggested that he show me, his brother, and the "other" grandfather a place where he used to hang out when he was a student at Seattle Pacific University. The location is in the Queen Anne section of Seattle, and I can say that we all enjoyed our good coffees. They... More

I love the strong Cuban coffee here. It is about the only place in Seattle, where I can get the strength that I prefer. And the brew brings back pleasant memories of sipping coffee in Cuba 10 years ago. Employees are always friendly and efficient, and the shop offers a variety of seating situations. There is the colorful main room,... More

All great things to say about this place. The coffee is stellar, the atmosphere charming, the prices fair. While I just drank a regular coffee, it was one of the best cups of coffee I had while visiting Seattle. Excellent outdoor seating, and a charming bookstore right next door for a perfect rainy Seattle spring day.
