We had the opportunity to stop by the Pike Place Chowder House during a recent visit to Seattle. The only down side is that it is popular and you can expect a relatively good wait (depending on the time of day). But the chowder is...More

We were walking down by the market and saw this place, it was busy as can be so we continued. It was kind of disappointing because we were wanting to try it. They have one in the mall, smaller lines and the chowder was amazing.

I had been recommended this place and the chowder is one of the best I have had. If I had more time I would have eaten here every day to try them all

Being from Boston I am always in search of good chowder. This was delicious and every bit as good as home!

The real deal! Only in Seattle....can’t imagine having better seafood. The wait is generally worth it.

And with good reason! They offer not only a variety of chowders, but an outstanding one. You can order a flight so you can try them all. There is even a delightful vegan option.

This was on my "must do" list in Seattle & it lived up to expectations. I had New England Clam Chowder & my husband had Seafood bisque in bread bowl. We both loved it

Some of the chowders have bacon and some have a pork sausage. They also have chowders with none of the above, ask your server which ones are without pork and they'll direct you to one that fits your preference. Enjoy!

I believe they did have gf. They do post a menu and also have someone handing them out. You can probably get their menu on line! Enjoy!
