The service in this expensive restaurant is below average. Lots of waiters but nobody seems to know what to do. We had to serve our own wine for example !! In my group most were happy with the food but i had the sole meuniere, wich was stripped down from all the good stuff and served without any taste at... More

I've wanted to try this place for a long time as a lot of our friends told us it was really good , so when we told them of the bad attitude of the head waiter and his refusal to explain any of the dishes !! Then told me I should have asked before going as its under new owners... More

If I could have given this place a 0 I would have . There was nothing wrong with the food . We have had a boat here for years, and have never had such a cold welcome in any restaurant in the whole of France. The only smile came from the young girl who showed us to our table. I... More

Lovely place near the sea, so delicious! Kitchen is awesome, especially starters "coquille saint jack Avec purée de poire et crème des champ". We were with my husband for the first time and after with friends and we gonna go there again cause in this place you feer the quality and the price is not so high.

we come here every summer; it's just lovely. Menu at 46 on a Sunday, cheaper possibilities in the week. Excellent children's menu [sole, fillet steak or burger, choice of puddings which pleased our older child who no longer wants a kiddie ice cream]. I just love the tarragon oysters, others in our group had the st jacques, also good. Then... More

The city scape is dreary concrete slabs. The French have a knack for screwing up their more modern marina.beachfront venues. Fortunately, they haven't forgotten how to cook. This upstairs restaurant is a fine emporium for fresh and artfully prepared fish and shellfish. The clientele is full of regulars, both retirees and younger couples, and the waitstaff is led by a... We,ve been here twice this summer, just lovely both times. I had the hot oysters both times [yum] the turbot once and the plancha the second time. Both delicious with lovely sauces. Puddings also worth visiting. Good list of local wines. Once we went with scrabbling grandchildren, and they put us in a really quiet corner where we couldn't disturb... More

We were a group of 12 and every dish was excellent. The wild boar dish and the fish dishes were perfect. Nice ambiance with a great view. Service superb.

Good meal and the service is first class. But the prices are a little high... Not recommanded for family with very young children.

L'Amarette in Port Camargue is in a little bit of a back water near a run down shopping mall, but has a great view of the sea. It is a very large restaurant and therefore can seem empty if you go out of season or early in the evening. Don't be put off. We had oysters - fresh and excellent,... More
