This is small quaint restaurant with food that has big flavors. The lamb curry is tender and delicious and the pork vindaloo is robust. When in town I try to eat here.

The exterior of this restaurant could use some sprucing up. The parking lot in back is pothole city. But, the interior is cozy with Himalayan music playing softly. It was dinnertime and our Server was covering the entire restaurant on her own but she did...More
We've been to many Indian and Nepalese restaurants in our time but unfortunately, this one just wasn't anything special or memorable. It was more Indian cuisine than Nepalese/Tibetan and was pretty expensive. The food was lacking in flavor and we only got one piece of...More
I ate here a couple days ago at noon for lunch, tried several items (Indian, Nepalese, and Tibetan), and was very pleased. I even took some to-go and snacked on it for the remainder of my day-long trip to the Kenai. The hostess who greeted...More
Nice, cozy restaurant. We'd never had Nepalese and Tibetan food, so we tried this place. We got the Kalimpong Shapta which is a pork stew with 2 Tibetan steamed buns and Lhasa Momos (beef dumplings) as appetizers. These two filled us up completely. Both dishes...More
Good food, overall, although a tad overpriced. Watered-down tamarind sauce was served with appetizers 😕. The palak paneer and mutter paneer were superb, but the veg kofta was bland and not served in traditional onion curry sauce. Great vibe and music--full of couples and families...More
Yak and Yeti, Good Place for a Rice Bowl kind of lunch. Also has soups and desserts in a very casual atmosphere.
I try to stop here when I am in Anchorage. Possibly, it is Tibetan, but it is real similar, without the heat, to what I have had in Northern India. It is a quiet little place with excellent food and service. Worth a try.
The service is always great and quick. I've had the chicken tikka masala and few of the curries. They are always great. You can get combo bowls of 2 or 3 choices, plus rice. Also, try the chai tea warm here.
