I loved this place! Eclectic atmosphere...and really lovely staff. The food was so interesting, different and yummy, for certain. Will definitely return before I leave Alaska!

This place looks as if it would be wonderful for wine connoisseurs, but since I in no way qualify for that role, I can only share thoughts on the food, service, and atmosphere. I stopped here for a light lunch and quick break from shopping. It was difficult to tell if they offered a choice of food, or just wine,... More

I was considering the salad nicoise for lunch and asked the waitress if the salmon was wild caught or farmed. She didn't know and acted mildly miffed that I would ask such a question. The place was practically empty. I asked if she could ask the cook, which she did, and it was wild caught, so I ordered the salad.... More

Perfect for a quick bite when out and about. Atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Their hors d'ouvres are local quisine and deliciously paired with their varied wine selection.

What a treat to have in Anchorage. They do a good job of presenting wine varietals. hors d'ouvres are also good.

Mid afternoon shopping! A bit of time to kill before meeting friends! Let's stop in here for a glass of wine! And we're glad we did. A wide choice of excellent wines. Knowledgable service. A very pleasant environment. Tasty nibbles to go with the wine. The menu suggests it could be an excellent venue for a full dinner as well.... More

Enjoyed passing some time between dinner and movie by having a drink at Crush. We weren't sure what wine we wanted but knew what style we were looking for. We were offered a few different samples to make our selection. Found the perfect glasses to pass the time

Unusual food and excellent choice of wine; nice place for nibbles and a drink. I had the beer cheese with toast; asked for the toast to be re-done as it was over cooked for me and it was no trouble - done promptly with a smile.

Six of us had an early dinner and primarily had salads and appetizers. All appetizers were very good including the dates, the deviled eggs, the chicken satay, among others. As to the salads, the beet, goat cheese and the arugula were all well received. A good wine wine list. Again, a very diverse menu, but a very good one and not... More

What a gem~ first the interior decor and support of local artists was fun. We sat at the bar (like we often do) and had the best time. The server was helpful, talkative in a good way, and quite knowledgeable about the foods, wines, and all things Anchorage. It was an incredible experience.

Description
Crush owners Robert de Lucia, Scott Anaya & Chad Culley created Crush in order to share their love of wine, food and conversation with Anchorage. Their vision was to give Anchorage a place where people can experiment with a variety of wines, drop by for a casual meal or sit down to a $1000 vintage bottle. In 2010 they expanded the vision by introducing their retail wine shop, Cellar, the bottle shop at Crush. The store occupies the loft directly above Crush and features over 400 wines as well as beer, spirits, cheese & wine related gifts. The shop is also home to Cellar Wine Club. Sharing wine is about the conversation; the richness of each glass reminds us of travel, meals and family. Wine should not have any mystique. It should be accessible to everyone so that we all can enjoy it. Rob, Scott & Chad invite you to come down to Crush and spark a conversation with them about the wines that fuel their passion and keep the sparkle in their eyes.
