Yes, Lucky Wishbone has the best chicken in town and the burgers rock too but my favorite are their salads. Not only are they fresh but the dressings and croutons are made there and are the best I've had in Anchorage!

Their fried chicken is amazing! My go to is: mom meal (2 piece -dark meat, thin fries, biscuit) and a cherry shake. They also serve up other dishes but are most popular for their old school fried chicken. Dine in and experience Alaskan History with their quaint set up & Alaska Aviation décor.

Chicken is the best! But I have also had the jumbo Swiss bacon. Don't pass up the fries or onion rings. Should be on Diners, Drive ins and Dives!!!

One of the best places in town for some good food. Everything from their signature Fried Chicken and Burgers to shakes, malts and desserts. Great local restaurant with a family feel.

Lucky Wishbone has been around for +/- 50 years and has been run by the same owners. It's a classic place that is reliable for not changing and in this case it's a good thing. Lucky Wishbone makes an excellent cheeseburger, cooked perfectly and with melted cheese on the top. Just writing this review makes me want one. I've been... More

This is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been offering tasty chicken and other delights for many years. Most of the staff have been working here for years and the banter between staff and customers is priceless. The coffee is hot. The fried chicken really is fresh and flown in daily. The cornbread, muffins and biscuits are traditional... More

For those who have never had great pan fried chicken and those have, this is a required stop. You've never had truly good fried chicken unless it's been pan fried. I grew up on pan fried chicken and the Lucky Wishbone does it right. Truly great and the corn muffin and slaw are also good. I tried the cheese burger... More

We had 1 kids meal, 2 adult burgers, fries, 1 salad, and 4 shakes, and water. The total was $71.xx without tip. Service was good, but I don't think food was worth the price.
