I' ve been going here for 20 years 1 - 4 times a year. It is getting worse every time I go. Last night will be the LAST time. I got the taco plate. This is a sample of 5 different tacos. I should have taken a picture. 1 had maybe 2 tablespoons of some kind of bean puree wrapped... More

I like that this place is not as crowded as the Tex/Mex places that are busier but not as good. I love their homemade salsa and menu items that others do not carry, such as cactus. There is a large ala carte menu, so you can always get just exactly what you want.

I have been eating at Mexico in Alaska for nearly 20 years and have never been disappointed with the food. The food is so authentic and delicious; if I could give Maria Elena' (the owner) a 10 star I would. I LOVE the salsa, the taco pollo, the enchiladas smothered in their homemade mole (the best I have ever tasted),... More

Colorful flowers along front are a pleasant welcome, and the staff followed suit. Friendly and attentive service. Pitcher of ice water on table, which was refilled, was appreciated. I thought the chips tasted somewhat stale (my friends disagreed) but otherwise the food was very good. The mole chicken had a smooth, rich sauce with just a hint of a bite... More

Been eating here for years! Great family owned and authentic. Not cheap but the quality is worth it! Salsa is good and available at Costco.

I always have Chili Rellenos when eating Mexican out and These are simply the best, and fresh homemade flour tortillas too! We love going for lunch or dinner. My wife likes the enchiladas, and the cactus with eggs and veggies is great also. There's nothing too fancy about this place but the food is always good, and we've had no... More

More than 40 years ago we used to go to Mexico in Alaska in their location in Mountain View. When they moved to their current location 31 years ago we followed them. This has always been a family oriented restaurant and they encourage children. If that's a problem for you perhaps you should stay away. If you do, however, you... More

Meat "flavored" burrito! Give me a break. This stuff is real crap and the staff/management are obnoxious. Better food at Taco Bell!

We were first disturbed by the kids yelling & running from a table in one corner of the dining room to a table in the other far corner. We thought they were leaving & placed our order, but discovered that they were attached to the business somehow. Half finally left, the other half stayed. Then, their grown-up counterparts started yelling... More
