Although I have lived in Anchorage a long time, I just visited this restaurant for the first time last week. Like SO many places in town, it's in a nondescript strip mall. The location is almost hidden away on Dowling, in between Lake Otis and the series of hectic traffic circles heading east. We were greeted right away when we... More

Three of us went for dinner on Christmas Eve after church. Obviously not a big restaurant night and the place was very quiet. Two of us ordered Mexican and one ordered the fried chicken. We ravaged down two baskets of chips (they are thick chips) before our meals came; the waitress was very prompt. The salsa was fine (mild and... More

It's not great, it's not horrible. Los Arcos is about what you would expect of a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall, in Alaska.

Mid afternoon lunch, very few customers. Service, slow, very slow, but friendly.... Charge for additional chips (don't do that at home in Indiana) Not good parking room for RV. Dark atmosphere inside (dark paint), dark carpet, but comfortable. Food, very good! Rating 3.5....

restaurant was looking clean but the area under the tables was not tidy. this certainly is not a place for vegetarians. We tried to tweak a burrito bowl with no meat, only rice and veggies.. but it was not done properly. cheese was fine but vegetables not fresh. The bar looked good but we didn't try.

Will not visit again, the store was clean but the smell of cleaning solution was too much, got the wrong food, and the waitress was no where to be found. Never again

I wanted to buy dinner at Los Arcos, which is about a block away from where I live. I looked them up online, where I saw the price for a Burrito Supreme was $8.50, and the price of three (3) tacos was $4.50. I figured $13 was not too much to spend, so I called and placed my order, stating... More

For the best fresh guacamole in town and an excellent menu of Mexican favorites and specialties, Los Arcos is the place to go!

Our local Mexican restaurant. Warm, friendly service with consistent flavorful food. Great cantina with multiple large screen TVs for game/race day. Look for discounts on the back of Carrs/Safeway receipts. Great value. Fantastic margaritas.

The food was ok, but the prices were to high for the amount of food we got. Not close to any major intersection, we found it by just driving around. The service was good, it made up for the price I guess.
