Stopped in for Evening Breakfast after a Long Drive. Restaurant was almost empty. Waitress took our order , we waited , she brought us our food, we never seen her again. We had to go to register and ask for our check. At that point we saw our waitress and another sitting in a booth on the other side of... More

This place has a great variety of foods on the menu...a burger at 6AM or pancakes and eggs at Midnight. I've enjoyed the V.I. regularly for over 30 years, and I know what I order is going to arrive freshly-prepared, hot and tasty. Service can vary depending on the crowds, but I can't fault them when it's really hopping, such... More

Got a very good chicken fried steak dinner with equally good country gravy. The steamed broccoli was bright green but devoid of seasoning. The biscuit was dry but overall the meal was a winner. The restaurant also had some bakery cases with delicious looking cakes, pies and pastries.

Typical Village Inn. Standard Fare. Long wait on Sunday morning around 10:00 AM, but once seated our waitress very quick, efficient, and food served promptly. Dining companion asked for bacon very very crisp & they did it just perfect which shocked her. Crowded and tables close together. A little annoyed by fact host was required to do two jobs- host... Staff very courteous and accommodating. Doesn't make up for horrible breakfast coffee and a meal that had a distinctly chemical taste. Pancakes were tainted with this flavor; Denver omelet had no flavor. Fruit cup had 4 grapes a couple of pieces of melon and that was it. Very nice trainee waitress brought a fresh-brewed pot of coffee which was better.... More

Four hungry motorcyclists stopped here yesterday. We wanted good food, congenial atmosphere and fast service. Being on a long ride quality and consistency is important and that is what the Village Inn chain provides. We were greeted as we entered and quickly seated. Our server was courteous and friendly. They were happy to split a meal for us. Our food... More

Walked in the door on Sunday around 11 am. Two people at cash register waiting on customers...no acknowledgement. One staff person working at the pie case ... no acknowledgement. One staff person walked out the front door right in front of me ... no acknowledgement. Stood there about 5-10 minutes waiting. Finally the two behind the counter were confused as... More

My friends and I eat at this VI often. The staff has always been accommodating and responsive, as well as friendly and knowledgeable. The food is good by Village Inn standards, especially their VIB (a pick-four-items breakfast special) and their "comfort food" selection. That, and the patrons are as nice and eclectic a set of people as you will find.... More
