We did several happy hours with friends while visiting Omaha. We believe they have one of the best Happy hours anywhere. Lots of beer and wine deals and the appetizers are marked way down even to 1/2 off. You must get their early, starting at 4pm on week days but staring at 3pm on Friday...lasts till 7pm. Only allowed in... More

We had sashimi and 3 rolls. The sashimi wasn't even cut all the way so the 5 pieces was more like 3. The rolls were a lot of rice and not much fill. For dessert we had the fudge brownie and caramel creme brulee. The brownie was huge but dry and flavorless. I've had better from Betty Crocker. The brulee... More

As a complete rookie at sushi, our party sat at the bar to get some help on what to order from the Happy Hour menu. The bartender was absolutely helpful and gave great insight. I was happy to try several different kinds of sushi -- and I think that is the way to try it. I loved one, liked 3... More

Ordered the California Sushi roll and a Spinach Chicken Salad and it was awesome! My husband ordered the Kona Burger (I think that's what it was called), but he equally enjoyed his meal. Would go back again if we visited the area again. Service was quick and timely and polite. Nice that the restaurant is in a shopping district and... More

Agree with several other reviews posted on the quality of food. In the last couple of years Kona has really gone downhill, they seem to thrive on their happy hour specials. This is my second very mediocre meal in the last month, I won't be back. Appetizer-$11.00 calamari, chewy, not warm when brought to table, & not completely fried. Dinner-my... More

Food was tasty and drinks were good. The big downfall was service. The waitress was very pleasant and apologetic but had to send the bill back 4 times. 1st time presented with wrong bill. 2nd time discount not applied. 3rd time she gave the bill back and said my gift card had not been accepted, but did not return gift... Their happy hour prices are great! You can try a bunch of different sushi rolls and not break the bank. Their service is usually good and the food is good as well!

I went to Kona Grill today with a group of 8 co-workers. The happy hour lasts from 3-7 and there is an extensive menu available. There are 3 types of deals for food during happy hour. $4, $6.50, and half off. It includes most of the sushi and appetizers. I had the chicken satay, spicy tempura shrimp, and the potstickers.... My daughter wanted sushi for her birthday dinner, my son wanted steak... Kona Grill was the obvious choice! My daughter loved the Sushi, my son said the Steak was amazing, I LOVED the Pad Thai and my husband thought the Pulled Pork Sliders were great - The potsticker appetizers were tasty and we really enjoyed the saki bombs! Service was... More
