Great old fashioned hamburgers and of course the original cozy dog! The French fries are. To die for.
We stopped for lunch on 7/1. Cozy dogs were just okay; seemed overcooked. The fries were ridiculous - limp and undercooked, yet greasy. Blah! Not what it used to be.
Be sure to stop at this roadside classic for the corn dog or a burger or other Americana treat when passing through Springfield. A great way to get your kicks on Route 66 ... the mother road.
